These terms apply to the PDPM Mentorship trajectory offered by Pablo del Pino (KVK 85672491, The Hague). You accept them at enrolment by ticking "I agree to the terms" and paying the deposit. There is nothing else to sign.
1. What the trajectory is
A 12-week 1:1 craft mentorship for composers who can already play and write, aimed at developing compositional voice, harmony, orchestration, production, and taste. Two cadences:
- Biweekly: 6 sessions over 12 weeks. EUR 1,500.
- Weekly: 12 sessions over 12 weeks. EUR 2,700.
Each session is 75 minutes, followed by written notes and a next-steps summary. Between sessions you receive asynchronous feedback on the work you submit. By week 12 we complete one agreed deliverable (a finished piece or a voice map).
2. What is included, and what is not
Included: the sessions for your cadence, written notes after each session, asynchronous feedback on work you submit (see section 5 for response times), and the week-12 deliverable.
Not included: additional sessions beyond your cadence, production or mixing services, ghost-writing or composing on your behalf, career placement, introductions to third parties, or work outside the agreed scope. These can be arranged separately by agreement.
3. No guarantee of results
Mentorship develops your craft; the results depend on the work you do between sessions. Pablo makes no guarantee of any specific skill level, creative outcome, income, commission, placement, or career result. What is guaranteed is the delivery of the sessions, notes, feedback, and deliverable described above.
4. Fit and enrolment
Enrolment is by application and is fit-based. Pablo may decline an application. A place is confirmed only once the deposit is received. Places are limited.
5. Your commitment
The trajectory only works if you do the work. You agree to attend your scheduled sessions, submit work for feedback in reasonable time, and act on the notes between sessions. Asynchronous feedback is returned within 3 business days of submission; it is not a real-time or on-demand channel.
6. Payment
Payable in three parts: a deposit to enrol, then two equal installments.
- Biweekly: EUR 500 deposit + 2 × EUR 500 (weeks 4 and 8).
- Weekly: EUR 900 deposit + 2 × EUR 900 (weeks 4 and 8).
Invoices include VAT where applicable. Payment is due within 14 days of each invoice. Access to sessions may be paused if an installment is overdue.
7. Rescheduling and missed sessions
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. With less than 48 hours notice, or a no-show, the session is treated as delivered and is not made up. Pablo will give the same courtesy: if Pablo must reschedule, the session is moved at no cost to you.
8. Right of withdrawal and cancellation
- Cooling-off (consumers): As a consumer you have a 14-day right to withdraw after enrolling. If you ask to begin within those 14 days, you agree that sessions already delivered in that period are payable and the right of withdrawal ends once the trajectory has been fully delivered.
- Cancelling after start: The deposit is non-refundable (it reserves your place and covers preparation). If you end the trajectory early, sessions already delivered are payable and are not refunded. Undelivered sessions already paid for may, at Pablo's discretion, be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
- Cancellation by Pablo: If Pablo cannot continue the trajectory, you are refunded pro-rata for undelivered sessions.
9. Confidentiality
Both sides keep the other's shared material confidential. Pablo will not share your work, ideas, or personal circumstances with anyone without your consent. You will not share or resell Pablo's mentorship materials, methods, or frameworks.
10. Intellectual property and recordings
- You own the compositions and work you create. Full stop.
- Notes, exercises, and frameworks Pablo provides are licensed to you for your own use. You may not redistribute, publish, or resell them.
- Sessions may be recorded for your personal reference by agreement. Neither party publishes a recording of a session without the other's written consent.
11. Testimonials
If you are happy with the trajectory, Pablo may ask permission to quote your feedback. Nothing is published without your consent, and you can decline.
12. Liability
Pablo's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the trajectory. Pablo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
13. Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in The Hague, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
